Alexandra Smith

Allie Smith began her training at the Lynch School of Ballet in her hometown of Huntington, NY and continued training at the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School under the direction of Cynthia Harvey. Smith was a two time recipient of American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Scholarship, and attended summer programs at San Francisco Ballet and The New York State Summer School of the Arts. She went on to perform with Oklahoma City Ballet while earning a B.F.A. in Ballet Pedagogy and B.S. in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Oklahoma. Currently, Smith is a 2024 Doctor of Physical Therapy candidate at Columbia University where she is pursuing research in dance medicine. Her performance career includes dancing in American Ballet Theatre’s Fall Gala and Whipped Cream at Lincoln Center, and Oklahoma City Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet and The Nutcracker at the Civic Center Music Hall.
